water1Sixty to seventy percent of all living organisms is water. It also covers about two thirds of the surface of the earth but freshwater is much lesser in amount. A very high percentage of the freshwater found on earth take the form of icecaps and glaciers.

Freshwater has a water salinity of less than .5 and are mostly found in lakes, ponds, rivers, underground water sources. It is very important to agriculture. Freshwater are also vital to a person’s life because we need it for drinking but less than one percent of the earth’s freshwater supply can be (more…)
