Most of us would like to travel to other places. We would like to visit countries far and wide. Unfortunately, not all of us can afford to travel. Transportation expenses alone would already make a big dent in our budget. The accommodation plus other expenses might set us back for months.

There is another way for us to visit and get to know the culture of another country and that would be through foreign films. Movies and even television shows produced in other countries offer us a glimpse of the lives of the people in that place. We can see the various sceneries and at the same time show us their culture.

The characters may be fictional but their interaction woth each other provides us with insights on how they deal with one another. They, the characters, are still based on the people who are living in these countries thus though their characteristics may be exaggerated at times but still has a certain feel of realism in it.

Movies and television shows also tell us how the people of those places cope with the difficulties in life as well as how they celebrate every milestone. It is an inexpensive of “traveling” to other places.
